I2000 Filter
The Everpure I2000-2 is a replacement cartridge for ice machines. Because ice is 100% water, having the best water filter should be a priority. This water filter reduces abrasion, clogging, scale build-up, corrosion, off-tastes, odors, and cysts, to leave you with crisp and clear ice cubes. The micron rating in this commercial water filter is .5, so it removes virtually 99.9% of all particles that are 1/2 micron is size as long as the filter lasts. The water enters the top of the filter and flows into the filter chamber through the inlet tube. The pleated filter membrane in this replacement cartridge is coated with activated carbon, called Micro-Pure, which absorbs the chlorine, off-tastes, and odor. There is also AgION in this commercial water filter that inhibits bacterial growth. The incoming pressure forces the water through the Micro-Pure and the filter membrane, and then out of the filtration system
